The narrative of the Ascension of Jesus might be considered by some to be the end of the story. Yet, while this step of Christ's glorification did mark the conclusion of the Saviour's earthly ministry, it also highlighted the significance of his ongoing ministry in heaven on our behalf and points us forward to our Lord's glorious return.
