The Righteous Judge Sunday, July 27, 2025

“Whoever digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit they have made” (Psalm 7:15). This morning we look to a Psalm where the speaker proclaims their righteousness before God and asks the LORD God to decree justice, to rise up against unrighteous enemies. Experiencing the overwhelming attack of enemies is one situation where we can find ourselves falling apart. In such circumstances we implore God to act. “Act now. Rise up.”
