I AM the Light of the World Sunday, February 22, 2026

In Jerusalem following the Feast of Tabernacles Jesus makes the claim, “I am the light of the world.” The Feast celebrates God’s miraculous care of the Israelites in their 40-year journey through the dessert. One way the LORD cared for them was through the cloud of fire that led them on their way. Jesus continues, “He who follows me will never walk in darkness.” He is our cloud of fire that leads us to and through life.
