I AM the Bread of Life Sunday, February 15, 2026

Jesus has fed the 5,000 and the crowds have tracked him down. They want him to be a “prophet like Moses” and restore the bread from heaven, manna. Jesus uses their words to introduce himself as the real bread from heaven that gives eternal life. Jesus then makes the mysterious and troubling statement that those who want life must eat his flesh. What does he mean by this? How are we to apply it in our daily lives?
