Jesus is the LAMB OF GOD Sunday, February 1, 2026

We are called to “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” Jesus’ identity as Messiah and atoning sacrifice is revealed to John the Baptist whose very purpose is to reveal God’s chosen one to the world. The title, “Lamb,” brings to mind many stories and allusions from the Old Testament telling us about Jesus’ primary purpose to carry away our sin and make us right with God.
