As followers of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, Christians are called not only to receive peace, but to make peace. Jesus says, “Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God.” In a physical altercation, it is not unusual for the one seeking to make peace to be attacked from both sides. In this season of looking forward to the coming of one who will bring a complete peace, how do we as followers of Jesus Christ work toward peacemaking in this broken world?
